Minera
A digital operating model for a long-running drywall construction firm.

Context
Minera Construction is the family drywall firm. The project asks how field knowledge can remain legible when it moves from notebooks and spreadsheets into shared digital systems.
Problem
Project data was distributed across notebooks, spreadsheets, plan sets, and individual experience. That made it difficult to compare decisions across estimating, scheduling, and delivery.
My contribution
I translate the firm's estimating and operating knowledge into product requirements and structured models, using AI-assisted development. The work connects my construction context to software decisions while preserving human review of the source material.
Approach
Represent projects with structured records for geometry, quantities, planning, and cost. Implemented modules and three-dimensional models make these relationships inspectable. Connecting all of them into one automatic operating workflow is an integration objective, not a completed capability.
Build notes
- The data structures use the terms and decisions found in manual estimating workflows.
- Model geometry and estimating output need comparison with the source plan set before they are accepted into an operating record.
- The residential scene on this site is a source-informed visualization. Some finish choices are interpretive; it is not a specification-accurate BIM model or evidence of a completed 5D integration.
Current state
Existing models were built from plan sets, alongside implemented operational modules. The September 2026 review does not establish a complete automatic Groma–Minera handoff. Source checking, approval, and integration testing remain explicit parts of the work.
The repositories are private. The public scene omits source drawings and identifying title blocks; it illustrates a design approach without claiming validated project costs, schedules, or construction-ready accuracy.
