La Línea

A digital exhibit about the border. Built to last longer than a campaign.

  • Interactive narrative
  • Cartography
  • Editorial typography

Context

La Línea is a digital exhibit that treats the Mexico-US border as both a physical and symbolic space. It was scoped as a durable editorial piece, not a campaign page.

Problem

A durable exhibit needed to distinguish sourced documentation from interpretation while keeping geographic, economic, and cultural material legible.

Approach

Document and map the subject, then let the reader move among geographic, economic, and cultural layers without prescribing one conclusion.

Build notes

Editorial architecture comes first. The published exhibit presents its public sources alongside the narrative.

Current state

The exhibit is published at lalinea.space.
